I'm sure a lot of people would rather just keep their photos stored on-line on their facebook page, but for those who are like me, and want to have photos of their daughter's first birthday or their own graduation, Kodak is making printing pics easier!
Everything a girl could want in a blog.

- Know the ticket market -- Check to see if tickets are sold out before you go to buy them (I went to buy my daughter Yo Gabba Gabba Live tickets immediately when they went on sale, and they had already sold out from a pre-sale, so it's important to keep things like that in mind). Then check the prices at the box office, and the prices at secondary ticket sellers.
- Know the right time to buy-- For more famous artists, ticket prices will usually increase as concert time nears, and for lesser known artists, ticket prices will decrease as concert time nears.
- Never buy from scalpers-- In this technological age, people can make digital tickets, all with the same barcode, so don't buy tickets from people waving handfuls in front of the venue, and don't buy from Craigslist sellers. By the time you realized you were duped, you'll be out of cash and have no way into the show.
Normally, my food bit is on food or beverages, but this time it's on a little hazard known as an oven fire. Ever had one? If not, great! If so, did ya freak? Next time you have an oven fire, don't panic, and don't worry about calling 911. Just remove the food (if you're capable, no need burning yourself) then shut the door, turn the oven off, and leave it alone for about ten minutes. This cuts out any air from getting to the fire, thus, putting out the fire.
For babies things like rolling over, crawling, and talking come naturally at a certain time, even if they might have been learned, but other milestones (such as giving up a lovey or a pacifier) are things that the parents have to control, and are more learned. So when should a baby move from a crib to a big kid bed? Or stop wearing diapers? Here's what many people had to say on the subjects at hand.
- High-chairs help to hoist baby up to the table to share in the meal and family conversation. 52-percent of people said this should happen BY age 2.
- There's nothing like watching your little one sleep in their crib at night, but eventually they outgrow their crib (or learn how to climb out of it), and co-sleeping babies get to big for sleeping with mommy so when should they go solo? 50-percent said by age 2.
- Diapers are a must when you've got a little one, but eventually your tot gets ready to trade them in for undies and some independence. 64-percent say potty training should be complete by age 3.
- Mama may love the quality time in breast/bottle feeding their baby, but soon baby needs a sippy cup. 49-percent say a child should try a cup by age 1.
- Binkies only pacify children for a certain length of time, then it's time to throw it in the garbage. 45-percent say passies should be kissed bye-bye by age 1.
- If a child's feet touch the ground when in the stroller, it's time to walk. 45-percent said that kids should walk instead of being in a stroller by age 3.
- Some kids find comfort in a blanket or stuffed animal, but eventually they have to move on to other things. 53-percent said lovies should be gone at age 5.

Suicide Set, Defined

When something sits on a shelf or in a drawer for a while it can start to smell less than fresh, but this quick trick can prevent those stale odors from happening. Just take a few cotton balls, spritz them with your favorite scented body spray (or perfume/cologne), let them dry a little bit, then stuff them in the corners of shelves or the back of drawers and wallah! Home made deodorizers! Not only is this a nifty way to get deodorizers that smell EXACTLY how you want them to smell, it's insanely cheap.

True Blood is far from "Just another Twilight" (for one thing the books were written way before Twilight; just like Vampire Diaries). The HBO hit is premiering it's third season on June 13, and if you haven't already started watching the series, I have five reasons why you should; besides the gore, sex, and of course.
- They don't sugarcoat things, so it's 20 times edgier than Twilight, and 15 times edgier than Vampire Diaries.
- Alexander Skarsgard as Eric Northman. We loved him when Lady Gaga poisoned him, and we love him even more as this sexy, bad-ass vampire.
- Nelsan Ellis as Lafayette. He's incredibly funny and has quite the fashion sense.
- The whole thing is campy, scary, comedic, bizarre, and has southern charm.
- If you've read the books than you know the series really brings them to life, and the whole "Sookie-verse" is a great escape.

- Walks with Men by Ann Beattie. A 22 year-old gets involved with a man twice her age as an intellectual experiment. However, intoxication quickly turns to disgust when she becomes wrapped up in the relationship and the non-stop city life of New York in the '80s.
- Click: The Magic of Instant Connections by Ori and Rom Brafman. Psychologists have identified 5 "accelerators" that are present when people are fully engaged in the moment, and this book teaches you how to consciously induce those moments.
- The Ice Princess by Camilla Lackberg. The first novel in a seven-book suspense series. It follows a 30-something protagonist when she returns home after her parents' death, however, the deaths are only just beginning.
- Bitch is the New Black by Helena Andrews. Although Helena Andrews was fuming for the entire commercial break when she heard Tina Fey exclaim that "bitch is the new black" Helena realized, sometimes it's good to be bitchy, and so comes this book which is filled with essays about being young, black, "flawed, tired, naive, gutsy, frightened, and kind.
- The Unlikely Disciple: A Sinner's Semester at America's Holiest University by Kevin Roose. Kevin Roose left Brown University to investigate what exactly went on at Liberty (the largest Christian fundamentalist college in the US). Kevin knew he'd write something, but he didn't expect it to be this.
- One Day by David Nicholls. With a film adaptation in the works, this book follows a together-but-not-together couple for TWO decades. However, you'll only read about one day of each year.
- How Pleasure Works: The New Science of Why We Like What We Like by Paul Bloom. An informative, humorous, and engrossing look at why we're seduced, comforted, and captivated by people, objects, and art.
- The Short and Second Life of Bree Tanner by Stephanie Meyer. If Bree caught your attention in Eclipse than get ready for this novella that shows you the darker side of Twilight vampires...the side you don't see when they're sparkling.
For the rock star that can't handle the pain of "going under the needle" (haha! I just made that up.) Tattooist, Kat Von D has designed a set of temporary tattoos that achieve a "real tattoo look." Each one is inspired by the Latino culture of Los Angeles and Kat's own personal collection of tats. The creations of Moni Moni by Cinzia Moniaci are wonderful for experimenting with color and texture when it comes to handbags. They're made in Italy, so that unique European flair is there, but the designer now resides in L.A., so that casual Cali vibe seeps in. I'm not the only one in love with these bags either. After finishing her first season of American Idol Wednesday, Ellen DeGeneres and wife, Portia de Rossi, were seen lounging by a pool in Mexico, Friday. Ellen lounged with a book, while Portia put on a bikini to soak in the sun in between work outs. Which, between AI and her own talk show, I'd say Ellen deserves a vacation. Now, she's adding a new project to the list of her accomplishments: her own record label! The company is called eleveneleven and the first task on the agenda is to sign YouTube sensation, Greyson Chance.

- Before you leave: Many pet-friendly establishments have to-go dishes for your pet to have some water, but it's best to carry your own bowls for puppy. Plus, some treats to prevent giving him (or her) any inappropriate human food. Also, bring a non-Flexi leash (and a bag if it's a small dog), so you can quickly secure him.
- Before you enter: Check in with the hostess. Just because it's outside doesn't mean it's okay. Plus, if the patios crowded it may be better to go somewhere else.
- Before you sit: Check the ground around the table to make sure there's no food or liquid droppings any where, and that there are no shopping bags or purses close enough for your furry friend to get to. Then, make sure the leash is short enough that your pup can't bother any customers, or get stepped on by pedestrians.
- Before you go home: Clean up after yourself! If you've been given a bowl of water for your dog make sure you pick it up. Also, make sure your pet didn't potty when you weren't looking (if so, clean it up), and make sure you thank your server before you exit.
Geek Tip: 5 Things You Should Know About Facebook's New Privacy Settings
Posted by Lila Renee Stoanes- You can further customize it. If you don't want to use some of their new and "recommended" security settings, you can customize them, and keep what you want, and get rid of what you don't want. Just click on the "customize" text link at the bottom of the page.
- Friends of friends. This is basically friends that you may not have in common with other friends, and when it clicked on by those "friends" they can see anything that's marked "viewable by friends of friends."
- Delete unwanted apps. Apps pull info from your profile to work, so if you don't want your info floating around in app you no longer want (or use) it's best to just delete it. Especially if it's a spammy app.
- Get a grip on instant personalization. Facebook had recently made a change that allowed all of their partner sites instantly sign-you-in, which can lead to leaked info. For now, that feature is disabled by default, but don't be afraid to check it occasionally to make sure that hasn't changed.
- Info accessible through your friend's apps. This is big, so pay attention! Not only are your apps taking your info, but so are your friends' apps. To stop this you'll need to go to the "Applications, Games, and Websites" section, scroll down to the "Info accessible through your friends", and click edit settings. Then uncheck all of the apps and leave it that way. This is a very sneaky way for apps to steal your info, because you didn't authorize it....In fact, I'm about to go fix mine.

Pronounced "pie-yar", a paillard refers to a boneless cut of meat that's been pounded flat, then cooked rapidly. Traditionally, paillard was used to refer to a piece of veal or chicken that had been flattened, then grilled or sautéed. Today, the term is used more loosely and can refer to chicken, veal, beef, or pork that's been pounded and then cooked in any manner, from baked to fried.

Whether you're eloping at the court house; or getting hitched in Vegas; here's 8 tips for a simple, no-frills wedding.
- Do a destination. With the money being saved from not having a big bash; you'll be able to have the wedding somewhere with a little more significance.
- Go potluck. If you're having a small reception after a private ceremony, have the guests each bring a separate dish.
- Go to happy hour. If you want to ditch the reception all together then you can still have your friends meet you at your favorite bar for happy hour.
- Get services instead of gifts. Friends and family would probably jump at the chance to forgo pricey gifts, and give services (hair, make up, photos, etc.) instead.
- Take a chance. Without 200+ guests to worry about, you, your betrothed, and your closest friends and family members can take an adventurous outing together.
- Skip the ball gown. It'll save time, money, stress, and there'll be no fittings. You can even find a cute one-of-a-kind outfit.
- Be courteous. For the friends and family who aren't there for the nuptials, send hand-written notes expressing your love for them so they don't feel completely left out.
- Be spontaneous. By not planning a wedding, and spontaneously getting married you can still have an awesome, memorable day without any stress.
Guys dream of kissing your smooth lips, not your feathered lips; so here's a few tips to keep your lipstick from flaking, creping, or feathering.
- Clear lip balm: Not only is ChapStick good at keeping your lips hydrated, but a clear coating of it around the outer edge of your lips will create a sort of forcefield to keep your lipstick from traveling.
- Color in between the lines: A light layer of foundation, followed by a neutral or colorless lip liner creates a solid base for keeping lipstick in check.
- But if you prefer to go liner free...: First apply powder, then lipstick, then blot. Then repeat (but leave out the blotting on the second time).
- Exfoliate: Exfoliating helps to eliminate feathery, dead, peeling skin from the lips.
- Prime time: Lip primers have silicone in them, which help to create a smooth, even surface.
- Check your products: If you still have lots of caking going on, check your products. They may be to old, or of bad quality. Toss them when necessary.
- Get glossy: When all else fails, go for a richly hued gloss or highly emollient lipstick. Both glide on easily, and tend to resist caking.

Cupcake popularity has prompted many couples to use them instead of the pricey, extravagant, tiered cakes. However, it's not just fad. Cupcakes, wedding cookies, and dessert bars are considerably cheaper than cakes...And most wedding guests are usually too distracted, stuffed, and/or tipsy to care...or even notice.

Obviously, it's important for your family and friends to like your new boyfriend, especially when you think (or he is) he's the one. But is it totally a red flag if NO ONE likes your boyfriend? Probably. However, parents are incredibly tough to win over, so don't dump him right away if your parents don't like him. Remember, approval is nice, but usually won't happen unless they're completely, 100 percent, open and nonjudgmental.

I know the "Beauty" entries of my blog are normally about skin care, cosmetics, nail polish, etc., but I was watching I Love You, Man the other night and thought, Rashida Jones is gorgeous, and, thus, was inspired to put together the following list:
- Katherine Heigl in 27 Dresses She may have always been the bridesmaid before, but in the end she got gorgeous James Marsden.
- Vasundhara in Monsoon Wedding If you've seen this movie than you know what a bad person her character was, but her Punjabi make up and jewelry was amazing and she looked gorgeous.
- Kate Hudson and Anne Hathaway in Bride Wars They went from best friends, to trying to destroy each other's weddings, back to being best friends, and they both looked great as they done it.
- Katherine Hepburn in The Philadelphia Story I have one thing to say: Those classic Hepburn curls are to die for.
- Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama Even though she didn't marry Patrick Dempsey's character in the end, she still looked beautiful, sophisticated, and incredibly stylish.
- Jennifer Lopez in The Wedding Planner Jennifer's wedding look in this movie was simplicity at it's finest, and she looked beautiful.
- Amanda Seyfried in Mama Mia! At her almost-wedding in Greece, Amanda looked like a Greek Goddess and showed that just a few golden accents can create a warm, beautiful glow.
- Rashida Jones in I Love You, Man Rashida looked absolutely beautiful and modern with her informal bride look.
- Claudette Cobert in It Happened One Night She may not have been the epitome of "blushing bride", but her look was still the height of 1930s chic.
- Elizabeth Taylor in Father of the Bride The dress might be a bit dated, but her beauty look was timeless.
