Thanks to the new site, Unvarnished (still in beta), the dilemma of putting together the perfect reference list for a resume is no longer an issue. The site functions similar to Yelp, but instead of reviewing the diner where you ate breakfast for the first time, you'll be reviewing a friend or co-worker.
The goal of the site is to give employers an accurate, honest picture of a potential employee. Reviews are anonymous, and you can create a profile for yourself to be reviewed (or even a profile for someone else).
All though the site would seem beneficial because you wouldn't have to worry about an employer getting a candid impression of you, it's scary to think that a former employer or co-worker with a vendetta against you would be able to start a profile for you.
