Painting a house can be a difficult task, especially when doing it by yourself. So, here's a few tips on how to turn it into a party, so you and your friends can do it together. And soon, you all will forget you're working.
- Send out cute invites. Evites are easy, but if you put them in the mailbox, you can write them up on real paint chip sheets.
- Have lots of food and beverage on hand. For lunch, or dinner, order pizza, but throughout the day have plenty of snacks on hand to keep everyone energized.
- Be sure to snap pics throughout the day, you'll want before and after shots. Plus, in five years you and your girlfriends can look at the photos and reminisce on how much fun you had.
- Have a plan of attack. To prevent chaos, let the girls know the order in which things need to be painted.
- Be prepared with enough supplies, including paint, primer, brushes, rollers, tape, drop cloth, etc. And tell your girlfriends to bring any extra supplies they may have.
