Fitness: How Blake Lively Got Green Lantern Ready

We all know Blake Lively is long, lean, and leggy, but how did she get in shape for her role, opposite, the Green Lantern himself, Ryan Reynolds? Well, trainer, Bobby Storm, shared that with Us Weekly. Obviously, he's no stranger to the super-hero set, having recently trained Scarlett Johansson for her role in Iron Man 2, but there were quite a few differences between Scarlett's and Blake's training regime.


Storm says he and Blake focused their efforts on circuit training, four days a week, 90 minutes each. All the planks, push-ups, and walking lunges paid off too. As for her diet, there was a lot of oatmeal, fresh fruits and veggies, salads, and lean protein such as fish and chicken. Blake limited dessert to a one-bite affair only, and saved her real splurges on Greek food.
